Robbie obtained his PhD in 2018 at Tilburg University. His dissertation was about improving existing and developing new meta-analysis methods. A large part of his dissertation focused on meta-analysis to correct for publication bias and these methods are included in the R package puniform. After obtaining his PhD, Robbie continued working on developing new meta-analysis methods. He also regularly participates in large-scale collaborative projects like the Reproducibility Project: Psychology, Many Labs 2, and the SCORE project. Moreover, he is also a BITSS Catalyst advocating research transparency.
