Michèle obtained her PhD in 2018 at Tilburg University. Her dissertation, titled “Research on research: a meta-scientific study of problems and solutions in psychological science”, was awarded the Tilburg University Dissertation Prize. Among other things, she developed statcheck, a “spellchecker for statistics”. Her current research focuses on how statistical reproducibility of scientific findings relates to their replicability and the overall quality of the paper.
