Chris studied mathematics with economics at the Technical University of Darmstadt. He also obtained a teaching degree in mathematics (bilingual) and history. In 2019 he started a PhD at the University of Göttingen. His focus is on meta-research in the field of economics where he currently investigates the prevalence of reporting errors in an automated way. Additionally, Chris works for the German Federal Statistical Office and is responsible for the further development of the Consumer Price Index.
